About Us

Frontwing is a developer of Japanese visual novels. Since the company's founding in 1999 as a bishojo game developer, and the release of our first title "Canary" (Canaria: Kono Omoi o Uta ni Nosete) in August 2000, we have published over three dozen titles in the visual novel genre.

From school life love stories to hardcore adult games, as well as titles which utilize 3D computer graphics, our creations cover a diverse range of styles. Our products, as well as the characters they feature, have come to be representative of the world of bishojo games.

Our most well-known game series is the Grisaia trilogy, which received an anime adaptation in 2014. Its first installment, "The Fruit of Grisaia," marked our first venture into the overseas market with its English release on Steam courtesy of Sekai Project on 2015.

In 2016, we began releasing games localized by our in-house translation team, in the hopes of having more of our games available to be enjoyed by English speakers.

Further localized titles are in the works, including simultaneous English releases of new upcoming Frontwing games.
